NEW: Jake Lloyd Colglazier, new leader of the mysteriously funded astroturf group Keep Dallas Safe and a former Huffines staffer, has close ties to the neofascist "Groyper" movement led by Nick Fuentes. He replaced the prior KDS leader after they were arrested for a second DWI.
Conversation
Recently, Colglazier's work around homelessness has been platformed by right wing propaganda website Dallas Express, which claims I defamed them for calling them propaganda, and his stances on homelessness appear to align with those of the publisher Monty Bennett.

From the start, Keep Dallas Safe has been a sketchy organization run by sketchy people. We still don't know who funds their activities. But their leadership trajectory is remarkable. First, known astroturfers. Second, a serial DWI offender. Now a Groyper.

Despite the embarrassing leadership track record and a total inability to impact local election outcomes, Keep Dallas Safe repeatedly comes back from the dead to shuffle along like a zombie.

After the former operators of the pro-police group Keep Dallas Safe falsely accused me of sexual harassment, they were fired and replaced by Stephen Moitz, a UNT grad and former Young Conservatives of Texas chapter leader. This is his second DWI arrest in 2 years. twitter.com/savetranstexan…

Before being named leader of Keep Dallas Safe by unknown funders, Colglazier worked with Alex Jones' conspiracy theory site InfoWars and was hosted by far-right True Texas Project. He's supported anti-LGBTQ astroturf group Protect Texas Kids, also platformed by Dallas Express.

Here are some posts that Colglazier, now head of Keep Dallas Safe, recently made: Confederate flags and misogynistic comments about women in the military. Which rich conservative donor(s) decided this is the ideal face of their pro-police group that complains about "vagrants?"
Tim Dunn & Farris Wilks' money must be behind this Keep Dallas Safe group. TX billionaire oligarchs are behind every right wing group in this state. They decided to hate vagrants rather than use some of their money to make ppl's lives better? Sounds just like their dirty tactics.
