The founder of the group, Kelly Neidert, has been responsible for organizing several anti-drag protests that have attracted extremists militia, Proud Boys, and even an open Nazi. She isn't too shy about her open bigotry toward the LGBTQ community.

Back in March, I reported with on the transphobic campaign Kelly Neidert was leading on her college campus. After graduation, she started a nonprofit funded by unknown people that has escalated her transphobic rhetoric.

Neidert's nonprofit, Protect Texas Kids, is responsible for the series of anti-drag protests which have drawn right wing extremists who have tried to provoke and or actually committed violence. Local parents and activists have rallied against them.

With each drag event Neidert protests, new acts of violence occur. The most recent one saw at least one assault from a right wing extremist and several attempts to provoke a response from armed security.

Now, Neidert seems to be working with far right school board trustees that have been boosted by Patriot Mobile and other right wing funders. Recently, Neidert spoke at the Grapevine-Colleyville school district to support their "Don't Say Trans" policy.
