    You know, the thing about 'star Trek: The Next Generation' that screams "this was filmed in the 80s" isn't so much the decor or the uniforms as it is the carpet onboard the Enterprise. It reminds me of every carpet I saw growing up.

    The "Ghost of Kyiv" is likely an exaggeration (or inadvertently combining pilots), but somebody up there is punching way above their weight, and Putin definitely didn't expect to see his paratroopers get thrown out of Hostomel airport before they could get reinforcements.

    I did not have “Russian invasion of Ukraine turns into the plot of an ‘’ game” on my 2022 bingo card, but *if* (and it’s a BIG “if”) it’s real, this dude has a GOAT nickname.

    I’m begging major media to report on whether “The Ghost of Kyiv” really exists—as if it’s true that today a heroic Ukrainian fighter pilot single-handedly downed *6* Russian jets, this flying ace immediately becomes a stirring symbol of Ukraine’s resistance to Putin’s war crimes.

    Ukraine claimed to have shot down one Russian plane first; now they say 5 and a helicopter. Really need to see some confirmations on this stuff.

    Unconfirmed claim Ukraine shot down five more Russian aircraft in eastern Ukraine. First was an Su-25. If true, reflects stiff defense by Kyiv’s air-defenders.
