    We're not even bad at our jobs per se, but we got here through this and now it's turtles all the way down. Not all of the abstractions were likely worth the trade-offs but we have what we have now.

    You might not know (I didn't) that you need a thread on dog sled teams today, but you do and this is it.

    Maybe you’ve seen on Disney+, which is a true story about musher Leonard Seppala and his lead dog, who crossed incredibly tough terrain to carry medicine to Nome and prevent an epidemic. It’s an important story—and it made me realize I haven’t talked much about lead dogs.
