Somehow I feel we're giving too much power to the racists. Like, if racists wear jeans, soon we'll be told we can't wear jeans. When my mouth is full and the waiter then asks how our food is,
is usually my reply. But apparently not.

Agreed. It's worth pointing out that racists are using this symbol and why. Still, I saw a case recently where a high-profile lawyer tried to apply it to some high school kid playing basketball. Very, very slippery slope.

Agreed. Take back patriotism from the nutters. And the okay sign as a white supremacy symbol started as a hoax, then was used by the racists as a deniable allusion to the hoax, but is morphing into an actual racist sign...if we let it. It would be stupid to let them have it.
