He, as part of the Goodies introduced me to British comedy... Brilliant, funny and so clever. A generation based their sense of humour from 6.00 pm dinner viewing. This antipodean is so grateful. Condolences to his family and friends.

As a child I sat behind him at the old Baseball Ground watching our beloved Derby County for several years . At half time he would go the the buffet in the posh bit ( as my grandad called it ) then return with snacks for everyone.

I spent many hours as a child watching UK undergrad humour somehow packaged as a kid's show here in Australia. Tim Brooke-Taylor was an integral part of The Goodies and my childhood. Vale, Tim.
