        I do NOT know if these comments from Lam were what prompted his resignation. I only spoke to Justice Spigelman briefly and he did not elaborate on his reasons, beyond the brief comment above 4/

        Right call on the resignation. The twisted common law system under #NationalSecurityLaw is no longer the common law system we know, not to mention Beijing and Carrie Lam announced the death of separation of power and hence independent judiciary overnight. #StandWithHongKong
