A group of former students and postdocs wrote this paper about research I've done over my career. Really honored by this tribute, and of course, acknowledge that they & others were huge contributors to the research without whom it wouldn't have happened

Leading was one of my proudest achievements of grad school. So happy to have worked with such a great team and had so many insightful conversations with urban resilience leaders. Excited to see what comes next now that I’ve stepped away from the podcast!

So happy to have contributed to this paper, where we demonstrate the value of a social-ecological-technological system framework to improve social-ecological outcomes when planning and managing urban nature-based solutions. Proud of our efforts!

Had our lunch break at Big Break Regional Shoreline! A beautiful park that serves as a community and education hub for the Delta. We learned about the wide variety of educational programs that occur at the park.

There’s also a multi-use path that runs alongside one of the parcels at Dutch Slough! During our ~10 minutes hanging out by this bend, I saw 5 or so cyclists and a few runners! There are plans to extend this path around the full parcel to improve this recreational benefit!
