He could have gone further, explaining how the 1% rigs the tax/trade/banking/etc. legislation/rules. This is *how* the money ends up in the hands of the 1%. Lawmakers on both sides have (largely) handed over the the writing of the rules to lobbyists and special interests.

SO WELL SAID. If sharehlolder vote on executive pay was binding, might fix some of it. But people paying $3000 for a football game don't help either. >70% tax rate purpose was to discourage Silly Pay but I've sure been attacked for saying THAT!
