Projects are "sanctioned", but money is not released. The procurement procedures have gone back to the stone age. In the name of "atmanirbharta," almost every purchase has to go to Delhi. As a result, what used to take 4 to 6 weeks now takes 3 to 4 months, if not longer. 2/n

Vietnam has lured away far more Chinese manufacturing than India. Yet one doesn't hear about such happenings in Vietnam. If India cannot maintain law & order, it cannot complain that manufacturers won't come here, or stay here.
