my billie eilish “bad guy” video - my most popular video ever - was just completely removed from twitter by . it’s just so funny how a video, where 100% of the content (both audio and video) was recorded in my own house, can get completely removed like this.

If you drop your iPhone, make sure it's still water resistant (i.e. try blowing into sim-card tray), don't assume it's still IP68 if you've ever dropped it

Protip: Just set up your DNS server with custom A record for one of built-in servers to play on a self-hosted bedrock server on switch.

А давайте обратный, самый добрый тред. Пишите 5 не самых известных игр, которые вы считаете просто потрясающими. Я начну: 1. Finding Paradise (и To The Moon, но она популярнее) 2. Geometry Dash 3. Furi 4. Iconoclasts 5. Cry of Fear

I mean if data is also stored somewhere queryable and/or signed on chip itself.

Oh, it's not that bad: I just was told that in Israel chips contain a lot more info on them (and are required by law) -- including owner info, vaccines info and dog info. That sounds way better than just having an ID fused into the chip, especially if data is cross-validated.

I guess I'm mostly concerned because of infrastructure and marketing bullshit surrounding these chips, not because of chipping itself.

Why aren't DBs public? Why won't they censor out private info, and make everything else public?

or alternatively they can hack into those huge DBs which feel like they're stuck in 2000s, and I'm quite sure that corp won't tell shit even if they find out they were hacked because in that case nobody would trust (and pay) them anymore.

it feels a lot like false security to me if it's designed to protect against animal replacement, what stops thieves from planting chip with exact same data on it? there's no crypto at all, and I'm quite sure it won't be an issue to make same chips with replaceable ID for thieves
