I suppose ld only checks lib for symbols which are unresolved at a time of processing that lib, and never goes backwards. That has some benefits, but is very inconvenient. You can use `-uSYMBOL` to "Start with undefined reference to SYMBOL", or use `--whole-archive`, I guess.

TIL: ld from GNU Binutils fails linking static libraries if they're in "wrong" order: if lib2 uses symbol from lib1, and bin links to lib2, then you have to specify -l2 -l1 and not -l1 -l2. Demo: (see readme for example)

Ian's exploit is most definitely not just a PoC. It's just a hard-to-exploit bug, deal with it. And Electra may work well, but it's not even close to bulletproof, lol.

If you're struggling to find an Apple developer document you know exists, it's not just you. 's robots.txt disallows /library/archive/, where all of the old docs now live. Apple's own "Search Documentation Archive"...doesn't search the archive.

"not code" means that I haven't written any code for it on purpose, not that my code isn't used there.

To clarify: I'm not "member" of Electra team, and have only provided some support with suggestions/ideas (not code) I don't think I'd ever be in "team" with them (not to offend, most of them are great people, but I just don't want to work with some of them for various reasons).

Things that happen in Silicon Valley and also the Soviet Union: - waiting years to receive a car you ordered, to find that it's of poor workmanship and quality - promises of colonizing the solar system while you toil in drudgery day in, day out

TorProject developer had to ask Mozilla employees to contact him via Google video-conference service (hangouts?) because JitSi Meet they've been using was blocked by RKN.
