I always wanted to play a moba with wow characters which back then lol was the closest or dota so now having the ability to play as Maiev or alarak is just a blessing.

Gosh I spend so many hours in HOTS!! Gul'dan and Medivh were my favorites to play with. I always wanted to master Kael'thas as well but .. oh well....

The talent system really makes it. Still offers build complexity while being easy to pick up. The shorter match lengths are nice too. I quit Dota 2 b/c games were easily 40-50 minutes long. I think Dota/LoL players just give HotS a hard time b/c they're too invested in Dota/LoL

I think is also because dota or lol players did not like how hots is more of team than solo progression or so i think. I for one like the way hots goes it just brings something cheerful.

Heroes honestly is still super good, if balanced a lil wonky. But that also makes the game super different from one match to the next. I get the most laughs from heroes games, even from losses.
