I’m so behind on the Torghast questline and I get it’s essential to the SL story but I realllllyyyy don’t feel like repeatedly running the same thing over and over w/ nothing to gain from it lol

I need to catch up on it, too, I just have not had enough motivation to manage progressing much anywhere My Night Fae and Necrolord alts are like 3 weeks behind in those stories on top of that and I haven't even gotten my Kyrian alt up to 60 x.X

Tbh I’m not big on time-gating in general, I feel like after a certain point most people start to lose interest then end up feeling even more behind after not playing for a few weeks with Torghast its like “hey do this thing to find clues/an npc, then do it again and again :)”

I get some timegating to like... align things with time passing for story and the like, since raid events are tied into the covenant stories. But catching up should be more reliable/smoother and less of a pain in the ass

yeah that makes sense, I’ve been trying to keep up every week with renown and covenant quests & haven’t had to actually “catch up” yet so idk what that’s like, I feel like everything should be available up to where the story is at currently

100% agree There should be no RNG involved with catchup renown. All sources of it should be promised up until the point it's no longer needed to progress with covenant stuff.
