Well, at least you didn't get merged with a RP PVP server (cries from Earthen Ring EU).
Seeing people talking about AD and having it's issues for a good while. No realm or server is clean from ass people or be perfect. I know it doesnt say much but neither leaving eu for us ( or the other way around) will ensure you wont come across them. It is up to how often

No but i did hop in in rp-pvp events only once and it was actualy pretty good, But that came down to how guild leaders worked on it

I feel like moving to a different server is just kind of the trendy & dramatic way of just going "look at the DRAMA!!! so insufferable!!!" and then you just move to basically the exact same environment but with messed up timezones, lol.
