Time to time i wished we knew more of azshara as character and her time during the empire. Like she even knew about the night warrior?

I'd imagine so! I think they mention the Night Warrior was used to expand the Night Elven empire, which would have been after Azshara ascended to the throne and started her war on the "lesser races".
This is the kind of stuff that make me go nuts! Like how the kaldorei knew it would work since was the first time they did such a ritual. Was Azshara even around at that time? Did she rise up to power honourably or Palpatine style? Was Malfurion always such a weirdo?

I can confirm from WotA Trilogy. Malfurion was ALWAYS a weirdo. He was that one city kid that goes to the cabin once and decides sleeping under a rock is the best way he can live his life while feeding squirrels.
