I think rp servers just seem a lot more lively to some people. Like you can find a random group of soldiers just groovin in the middle of the woods at 3am, whereas old zones on pve servers are pretty much dead

Was always so weird to me too. My brother is not an rp'er but he plays on AD because he likes the rp community and feels like most people are way more relaxed because of it. I feel like that's a valid reason if you're not there to rp. Zoo animals is... Something I didn't expect.
I used to be a big casual player but the idea of ppl rping and be more into the wow universe in gameplay was a very new concept to me so was only fitting for me to get draged in!
