Multiple times myself, actually. Eventually my browser put up a warning whenever I got another email.

Probably it may cause the problem for several reasons. I have mine for a year or so. And I have contacted help center to solve this, but in short they told me to simple "don't pay attention". Meh

Check the website directly if you get emails like that, never click on the link via email.

If you're getting it via email and it's not addressing you by your name then it's a scam
-
I saw from my mail yes and it does calling me by my name so guess is a safe thing.

Verify the source email if it's an email. If it's not actually PayPal its just ignorable scams. Otherwise just try to contact PayPal directly if the problem persists on their website.

Log in separately to PayPal (don’t like any links in the email!) if there are no warning on your account - it’s a scam. It not using the name you listed on PayPal but using your email address is a big red flag too

I get them but I am fairly sure its a fishing attempt to get your info. Never click inside these on any just in case.
