i haven’t hosted them in a few years, but i used to regularly in wow!! i generally had a loose concept of what i wanted to do w a few major plot points (depending on the length of the event— and one-shot or month-long kinda thing) but kept things open
A tiny help but those Who hosted events or Day by Day campgains in rp. How do you make them? Do you 100% follow the script? Or needs to go by your book?

one of the big things to remember as a DM of any sort of that your players will always find a way to surprise you! it’s better to go w the flow imo— means for a story you and your players can tell together, instead of you trying to fight them into playing the story you want!
