Honestly still feels wrong for Elune lore though. At least how its being handled. But thats partially because prior to 8.1 it wasn't some forgotten thing, it was just another aspect for something Elune was.
So it is a brand new idead from blizz right? If so it makes sense to be ....messy lorewise.

I don't like shitting on the writing... but man, if you do the 8.1 quests from thr Alliance and analyze it from a lore eye, there are just gigantic holes. At this point, especially after the Nathanos voice lines that were datamined, I unironically think they made the "power up"

So that Nathanos could scale to a god by standing up to Tyrande, not to make Tyrande powerful. Because frankly, she has done much more impressive things in the books than anything she has done as a divine aspect. They also just seem to fuck up on understanding Elune as a deity
