i remeber seeing up close that they have tiny toes like but i could never understand how this works for their hooves if is..well bone to bone.

The wow skeleton model for draenei hasn't been updated since tbc so it WILL look weird and funky. But I do believe the WoD draenei skeletons have proper hoof bones.

But yes, Draenei will indeed have hoof bones akin to goats so they have that splayed toe thing going on and probably 2 more unused hoof bones behind it, and lastly one that's retreated further up the foot area, below the ankle.

Hooves are not bone, they are keratin. Same as your fingernails. So yes, the wow skeleton is accurate.
