... okay but what actually happens if you drink from a moonwell, living or not

The divine magic would probably cause any undead or corrupted being (fel, for example) great physical pain, and perhaps be fatal depending on how much is ingested.

While arcane in nature, Moonwells have purifying and divine qualities, as seen by the Moonwell of Purification in Ashenvale and the fact that you purify Felcloth at a Moonwell to get Mooncloth. Moonwells are arcane AND divine and harbor both of those magics in their waters.

I'd argue the opposite. Moonwells were written before the time when Elune was associated with "the light" and her entire domain was arcane in nature through the moon and stars. At the same time, Fel was written differently as well to be the magical incarnation of chaos.

The Light is not the only divine source of magic, and Elune is not strictly associated with the Light and its practices, as seen with the existence of the Night Warrior (which was around before BfA). Moonwells are sacred to the Kaldorei, and thus are magically divine.

I could see Elune as a different source of "light" that simple became it's own force of nature to the point of conscience i feel like she needs her own title than be called light related but i cant be sure maybe she is an anomaly that became natural after.
