Argus was the Titan of Death so when Sargeras realized the potential of controlling death he could essentially keep his armies going but draining Argus in the process. We've no idea what Azeroth is the Titan of. I don't really view what the demons did to Argus as a good thing.
In the end was bad but they had a goal and they did their Best to achive it and get any benefit from argus. We on the other hand are using it for nothing but making weapons and throwing it at each other. We achived nothing using her blood but making our situation worse.
Argus was an example of what will happen if we continue down that path of using Azeroth as a tool for war.
As far as bfa story go purple Will be the New green if we keep doing what we do since the start. Yet i am thrilled to see how will end tho.
