I'm not the greatest when it comes to coloring, but boy do I try. I'm more apt to lines and sketches than I am painting, colors or color theory. I guess it comes from doing nothing but pen sketches for years and never touching paints before discovering digital.
You just described my entire art existence and could not say it better my self i feel ya alot there. o/ Digital is noice but traditional is hard to beat it.
