I don’t think I write more than 50 words in a day. I spend time thinking and talking (yes talking is thinking). To be a good UX writer you need to be a people person. By that I mean, you need to empathise with every user and get to know them and their journey.
Despite its name, #UXwriting isn't so much about writing. It's about thinking in systems and using these systems to inform the decisions we make on the interface level.

Fully agree here! In order to make every word count, we first have to figure out how the content fits into the bigger picture. To find this out, we need to talk to stakeholders - the ones creating the content it and the ones consuming it.
