But otherwise I won't make the 10 years. And probably achieve less if I continue to work 150% for longer and burn out in the process. Since then, I've stuck to my self-imposed time limit (except in emergencies). /6

In that moment I decided to make bold decision: I would radically apply the pareto principle and not work more than 20% for each company while expecting 80% of the results for it. If that's not enough, then so be it. /5

That finally changed when I struck Covid in April feeling super sick first and then depressed. I started to question my life. I was sad because I realized how little time I had for what's really important – like spending time IRL with family and friends. /4

I always told myself that I will reduce my workload if I achieved X. That was obviously a lie. This tweet from was an eye-opener to me. I realized I have to run any company for at least 10 years to really see it's full potential. 2/

The reason I'm still working on my sites is that my previous "career" was making electronic music. I started around 2003 but I quit in 2008 I saw artists that started in the same time around me take off only after 10y. So now I want to at least keep working on smth for 10 years!
