Depends on startups and FAANG anchoring high. Also if supply of qualified engineers is expanded with remote policy, salaries could adjust downwards

But -- you could see other salaries pulled up as well. For instance, if a regional company in PA/OH/MI or the Carolinas is now competing with FB & Google, all of a sudden they might find themselves needing to offer more $$ to keep their talent
