    Spittin truth again, El Capitan. If someone isn’t sure if they want you in their life, let them see how it is without you in it! Peace the fuck out, and leave that shit behind.

    You can say all the right things and not get through to someone. You can make all the right moves and not save a relationship. You can hit all the right spots and nobody gets off. Because life isn't about being right; life is about being real. And, real might feel fucking wrong.

    Obsessing over the past will never bring it back — which is fucking great. Because "past you" made a lot of dumb decisions, right? And, you know what else is dumb? Thinking about your past decisions instead of focusing on your current direction.

    The Captain with some timely advice. The holidays are so hard alone, and it’s hard to stay focused. You want to reach out so badly, but stay strong. If they wanted you in their life, they’d let you know.

    When you "take a trip" down memory lane, remember, you're there to visit it — not relive it. Look back, but don't lose your current focus. Think, but don't dwell. And, if there's more to leave behind you, tell anyone who needs to hear it, "Go to hell."
