    Did you know the Cathedral has an ancient library? Founded in 1595, our collection has over 550 books that were mainly printed in the 16th and 17th centuries. You can tour the ancient library by emailing us and arranging an exclusive look! Contact: visits@stedscathedral.org

    A Christmas concert like no other! We still have tickets available for Jethro Tull on 4th December at 7.30pm. Seats in the north and south aisles are £20 - there is a limited view, but TV monitors will be in place!

    A quarter peal will be rung at the Norman Tower just before the 1pm service at St Edmundsbury Cathedral on Friday (Nov 19). It will be rung by 8 ringers in honour of St Edmund & St Edmund's Day (Nov 20).

    Thank you to the Chair of West Suffolk Council for hosting Remembrance Services today in the Abbey Gardens Rose Garden. The memorials there commemorate the USAF 94th Bombardment Group, Dunkirk Landings, Normandy Veterans, Royal Anglian Regiment and RAF Honington.

    Dean Joe Hawes will be on Radio Suffolk tomorrow at 7.20am to talk about the upcoming memorial service the Cathedral will be hosting for , to remember the lives of 9 members of the community who died during the pandemic. Tune in to hear more about this service.
