    Also check out the WONDERFUL women I work with at Italic Pig!! As you can tell, Italic Pig is a super inclusive studio with more than half of us folks are gender minorities, so a vote for Most Inclusive Studio would mean alot.💕

    I'd share it if it wasn't confidential. But yeah... I can wholeheartedly say I absolutely LOVE Unreal Engine, after having used many many other engines and tools, and for any little games I make in my spare time, I'll be making them in Blueprints.

    I consider my own Blueprints to be tidy too - though I sit much closer to the end-user side rather than systems/architecture. I wrote a tidy AI system once that included Behaviour Trees, and honestly I think it's the most beautiful work I've ever done, code-wise.

    I know a lot of people look down on Blueprints like they'll always inevitably turn messy. But that's not my experience. I've worked with someone whom I consider one of the best programmers (whose background is in C++) and his Blueprints are just as tidy as his C++ code.

    I enjoyed this thread a lot, particularly as I've been really REALLY missing Blueprints now that I'm working on a Unity project. That's not to say that Unity doesn't have it's plusses, but every so often, I just HANKER for that creative freedom of Blueprints in Unreal.

    I want to tell a family story about racism, tenure and death. When my father, Harish Verma, was my age his academic career stalled. He had earned his PhD in Geology and Paleontology in 1972 and for a decade he frantically applied for jobs. And guess what? He kept the receipts.
