#Betelguese does explode, it'll emit a lot of radiation i assume... even though we're 700 ly away, what increase in radiation level can we expect? -

Following. What advice would you give to an 8th grade girl who loves math/science but doesn’t like the robotics end of it. That’s all they offer at her school. I think she would like astrophysics but what could she do now to learn more about it? Thanks.

I am a college aged girl who ONLY likes the robotics end of it and is there a planetarium near you? If there’s a planetarium (could be inside a museum or a university), there are astronomers who will know the best astrophysics in the area.
