Where is the @EFF in this matter?
Not sure of specifics in this case, but my understanding is that if @CEOmrGreen has already retained counsel, they can't really reach out. He'd have to make contact with them.
Make contact with who?? I would love to.. at no time was contact made by @Microsoft prior. Just Federal agents busting my door and raiding my home at 5AM with masks and semi-automatic weapons.

I learned the hard way myself that for @EFF to get involved, after I had spoken to any other lawyer, I would have had to contact them. There are weird rules in play with these things.
That seems weird that the @EFF cant contact @CEOmrGreen eg even to find out who his lawyer is/make initial offer to meet etc.
This case is EXACTLY the kind of reason I donate annually to the EFF and should never have been brought about by @Microsoft cc @MicrosoftVC
Yeah. It's not an @EFF thing, it's a rules-of-how-lawyers-work thing apparently.. it's bad form for lawyers to contact someone who has already picked their counsel. Which happened to me, and surprised me. To be clear, I *don't* know that that's what happened here.
