I got a C&D from TED for making a site with 1.5x speed versions of every TED talk in 2009. I had the wrong impression about their CC license
That said, it was awesome to find that I could download all of the videos at rates measured in MB/s due to Akamai using MIT networks to host. Automated video processing took much longer than getting the whole TED archive at the time, which was surprising.
