I see quitting Facebook as an act of leadership and as a statement of values and I hope we all find ways to use it (+ related properties) less and less. Beyond the company, there are bigger questions/concerns about how to deal with unprecedented internet ad & surveillance tools.

It is still hard or too costly for many people to quit The Social Network but it’s important to consider that Metcalfe’s law runs in reverse, as well: fewer people using Facebook makes it easier for others to depart eventually too.
