Is there a name for the phenomenon where a social network tends to converge to having a primary voice?

My knowledge is extremely shallow but I just meant the whole concept of shared symbols in the unconscious. But that's not supposed to be relative to a medium. McLuhan sounds apt. But any public discussion of McLuhan makes me worry about the Annie Hall scene happening to me.

You're right; it happens. But watch out for "group think." Interesting how Robert's Rules of Order and rules of the US Congress were developed to protect minority views. Anonymous flamethrowers sometimes shape the discussion by eliminating views other than theirs.

I don't know the name but. Its seems like everyones feeds are custom tailored to each individual. We mostly block people with views oposite to ours. Then google and search engines bring us search information based on their data base on who they think we are.
