Yeah. They tested a couple in my neighborhood. Absurdity ensued and they were reverted.
Genuinely interested to know: How much communication preceded the switch? For how long was the intersection closed before reopening as a roundabout?

I’m with you. We have terrible “UI” all over our streets. We learn to deal. Honestly, I think they flub it by having the round too big.
