I broadly wish there were like “Pinterest but for collections of ways to learn things.” Collect (or curate?) the books and websites and resources you found helpful.

A self-learner today does well to try everything and then stick to gauging what’s good. The best you can do now, as far as I can tell, is read reviews.. and that works mainly only for selecting books or texts.
