When I order food and pay at the point of sale system, and it then asks me to provide a star rating, what exactly is being measured?

Empathy maybe? When I check out of a
@TravelodgeUK hotel room the average rating directly affects the pay of desk/cleaning staff. A low rating because hq haven't done room maintenance in 6 months would hurt the wrong people. :-( -
