No exception legislation mandating its use on DOD and NASA contracts would do it. For the metric thing, not the other one. As a mechanical engineer at heart, I'm pretty sure electrons are a myth.

Of course, getting that passed would be tough, since units are now a political issue. As is hummus. We're a weird and broken place.
