That year, we were ranked the best public high school in NJ, supposedly one of the best states for public education.

It's so weird how people who want to change school are such a tiny group. I guess politics is nothing without some kind of identity narrative!

Yep. My focus is on ensuring my kids get a non-authoritarian education.

How do you ensure that?

Pay for private school, Montessori and such.
