Just saw a smashed-up minivan behind police tape by my favorite Castro cafe. "He was driving on the sidewalk on Castro street and hit some buildings.." said one of two men standing nearby. My heart.

Update, apparently at least one person was taken away in an ambulance. About 5 blocks away from the stopped vehicle, Rossi's Deli clearly lost its front: (cc @finitor)
