@MikellTaylor entry for worst thought of 2018: airplanes are cobots
-

-
Airplanes are cobots and we need to make sure they don't have the personality of knowing everything, being wrong, and refusing to listen
-
I think the distinction I'm forming is that we helplessly need to be able to work with airplanes (and perform identical tasks as the automation otherwise manages)
-
We can argue for fun abt whether this makes them cobots, robots, or merely a boranj kind of autonomy

Robots or cobots?
-
They're robots I don't have much to do with the labor they perform
-
Vending machines don't perform labor so I think they're autonomous convenience stores. (Humans do perform labor in traditional convenience stores)
