Not having to look at dashboard instruments is a similar relief to installing ad blocker. Wild how much peripheral attention is actually dedicated to the dash while driving.

Yeah you can look it just doesn't occupy a persistent part of your periphery and I found allowed a greater situational awareness/less direct visual clutter.

I can feel controls on a traditional dash without looking down; I have to look down for a touch screen. Is this an issue?

No issue.

There are two tactile trackball thumbwheels on the steering wheel that help for any necessary adjustments you'd do with the screen, too.

Ads are an undesired, unintended distraction from the purpose of viewing the intended content in the browser. Dashboard is an aid to the purpose of safe driving. Without dashboard, how does that car convey the data to the driver/passenger?
