It's surprising to me that people think "every belief should be possible to say out loud" is killing freedom of expression and experimentation, and not, say, a lack of housing that undermines the viability of artist communities.

I'm thinking about it. I'm not convinced that there aren't externalities some of the types of expression advocated for that aren't themselves hazardous and therefore worth carefully considering carefully the utility of such expression.

For example - presumably I could concoct a type of expression that was ultimately harmful to startups even in light of the argument that increased freedom of expression is beneficial.
