It's surprising to me that people think "every belief should be possible to say out loud" is killing freedom of expression and experimentation, and not, say, a lack of housing that undermines the viability of artist communities.

For example - presumably I could concoct a type of expression that was ultimately harmful to startups even in light of the argument that increased freedom of expression is beneficial.

for sure you could. but i think people should argue the idea, not call for you to leave the church or industry or whatever.

If someone's behaviour causes harm to others, why is the appropriate response to attempt to change their behaviour rather than remove them from the position of being able to cause harm?
