@starsandrobots sincere Q: why is every account that you follow private?
As an experiment about attention I recently decided to zero my timeline and move everyone I was following to a list, but I can't do that for private accounts.

how’s the experiment going? I recently put all apps in one folder on my phone so it’s harder to do anything, helps but not perfect

I think I'm keeping it! Anecdotally so far I spend far less time grazing twitter, almost no "lost in the abyss" scroll-fests any more. More moderated exposure to news, much less to get upset about when I open the app.
