I think about this a lot, why Twitter has the highest highs of anything online.

I don’t have a strong conclusion, but: liveness, community, and the sense of sharing a thing that’s happening can combine. There aren’t really guardrails either, which is why it can be so bad.

Facebook or Youtube are very processed compared to Twitter, which is mostly good but cuts off the peaks imo.
