I am living in
@kicad_pcb nightlies with fancy new functions, step file support and stiching vias, pairs well with FreeCAD for MCAD. Downside is I have to send the specific version of nightly I am at when I want to collaborate. - End of conversation

I favour KiCad. Because I like it & I feel using/developing it makes world a better place & EDA more accessible to people. Not perfect, sure. (Been teaching it to a couple of people recently too.)
