In the past few weeks, I've been fielding questions from male friends about how to adjust to new norms around behavior and gender in tech.
While I don't know, for example, how to refactor your HR to deal better with this (maybe talk to @prdgm?) I'm glad we're making this change

I am also not totally sure how to help folks leading orgs be better at observing harassment. I think it's often hard to spot. Good question.

I think one thing that is clear is that norms ARE shifting, that there are new rules, and it's normal for that to feel unsettling.

All this said: truth & reconciliation are both difficult and often painful processes. I hope all of this results in permanent growth.

I am intentionally borrowing a term used in South Africa at the end of apartheid. A very different scenario.
