      My first reading says that ATC was alerted by a third party to the possible discrepancy in position. That's the part I'll be looking for …

      That moment at 28secs when that 3rd party pops up is when they saved the day. Bless ATC indeed, but for the fast reaction to the new info.

      Maybe-the radio call about lights on 28R will have had ATC paying attention; I'm not confident 3p alone saved the day. Still glad all's ok!
