@1Password If true I'll be v disappointed. I don't regard myself as being exceptionally hardcore but local storage is a big draw for me

There are no plans to remove local vaults. We do believe http://1Password.com accounts offer the best experience for users :)

Nervous about this ambiguous response, local vaults and excellent browser plugins are why I use 1P. I'll be looking for a replacement now

We have no plans to remove support for current local vaults. We are advocating memberships since we feel it's the best way to use 1Password.
